FAQ- Frequently Asked Questions What kind of Artwork is needed? Art submissions must be in Adobe CS6 or lower (.ai, .eps, .psd, pdf). Please remember... • Make sure your images are at least 300 dpi( dots per inch), size as (100%) • Use a compression program when sending larger or multiple lines (WinZIP) • Convert all text to outlines for Illustrator files; rasterize all text for Photoshop files Examples of artwork that is NOT camera ready: • photographs • photocopies • faxed art • gifs • PowerPoint (.pps) • letterhead • business cards • jpegs • word documents (.doc)(.wpd) • logos with halftones What is Vector Artwork? Vector artwork is created using software such as Adobe Illustrator, and can be scaled to any size without affecting the quality of the image. Vector artwork IS NOT a jpeg or gif file imported into Illustrator and saved as an ai or eps file. Art Charges: The first hour is FREE! This includes cleaning up artwork, adding text to a logo, combining two pieces of artwork, color separation, etc. Any art requiring additional time will be charged $35.00 per hour.
